The
Mooseheart/Moosehaven Endowment Fund was established many years ago to help provide stable, ongoing income to help support
the operation of Mooseheart and Moosehaven. Donations received are carefully invested to generate financial support for the
many important services received by the children in our care at Mooseheart and the senior members at Moosehaven. 06/08/2011 We have five lodges and eight chapters that did not submit Endowment funds on time or not at all. They are: Athens 767,
Vidalia-Lyons 1281, Macon 1455, Calhoun 1974, and Henry Co. 2170. If this is not correct, please get in contact
with Moose Charities to get it correct. In order for a Lodge to earn monthly credit for prompt remittance of Endowment Funds, a check must be sent during each calendar month; Moose Charities posts the monthly activities on the first business day following the last day of the reporting month. The per-capita donation for Members is $0.33 (based on Active members 6/1/11). The per-capita donations for Coworkers is $0.09 (based on Active members 6/1/11). I want to make sure that everyone understands that they are REQUIRED to collect and remit endowment finds on a monthly basis. District Presidents should attend a lodge meeting at each of your lodge within your district to observe that collections are being taken for endowment, and then check to see that they are being processed for remitting the funds to Moose International. Lodges, the Certificate of Compliance requires you to make MONTHLY remittances to Moose Charities - failure to do so will lead to the revocation of your Certificate. Lynn F. Ridder Endowment Chairman
